Production Blog: Video Planning

 Hello Blog. The process of my blog is going good. My groupmates and I have been thinking about what what to do for the video. We have planned to do it at Ludji's house. I had to ask my mom for confirmation. She said yes. My groupmates had to ask for confirmation too. Their parents said yes. I picked out the song we are going to do. It took some convincing. After some consideration, my groupmates said yes. I've been coming up with ideas with how to do our project. I have also been looking at other videos. They have helped me with the angles. They have also helped me see the type of shots I should use. I've downloaded apps to adjust the video one we are done. My mom is into music videos so I asked her and she's helped. She told me what effects look good and which ones don't. The apps that I downloaded to edit the video is kind of complicated. I have to watch videos to learn them. I also have to ask my friends for assistance who edit things. This process has been pretty good so far.

Filming Blog: The Beginning!

 To be honest, filming was enjoyable and fairly simple. Ludji and I spent the weekend at Mai'Lyia's house so we could shoot. It was easy but challenging at the same time as we were filming. Being videotaped can be uncomfortable at times, but also funny. To get an outstanding video, we had to reshoot a lot of the scenes. We spent almost three hours filming the video which felt like a longer time. Many times, background noise or someone laughing would cause the scenes to sound off, so we would have to start over. We shot in a variety of locations across Mai'lyia's house. We filmed in, the living room, kitchen, back of the home, her room, her sister's room, and her brother's room. The laundry room and dryer in the back of the house served as the primary location or scene for the video. To add even more of an unsettling atmosphere, recordings were made at the back. Editing Blog: Things Switched

 Therefore, while not entirely incorrect, we completed the last task's filming portion incorrectly. The movie is meant to be a movie's opening scene. Rather than that, we filmed an entire short film. They gave me permission to modify this time as I had a fix request. They provided me with assistance when I needed it. But since I claimed to have Davinci Resolve, we decided it would be better for me to edit the movie. Mai'lyia captured a scene outside her home, which we were in need of. I think I will be the one to combine the footage to make it appear like an opening scene. This is done with the intention of not giving away the entire storyline or content. As I chose the fonts, I will provide the text, titles, and information about production and editing. Ludji agreed that it would be better if we skipped over the portion of the phone conversation that involved her and me.
