Music Blog: Music Selection

We selected to use royalty-free music for our song. We sort of took our time choosing the music. If we had chosen a song by a singer/artist, it would have taken far too long for them to get back to us. I quickly looked up eerie royalty-free music so that we could choose this. Many possibilities surfaced for this. I simply selected the first option that appeared or that I saw. Because there were different sounds in this video, it was really excellent. The video lasted for an hour. I simply flipped through the videos to find my favorite. I thought the first one was the best. I then sent a message to our group's group chat. Mai'lyia and Ludji both mentioned how much they enjoyed the first one. We choose to employ the first one as a result. It was a very tense and unsettling sound that would undoubtedly make someone uneasy. The sound was referred to as "Deafening Silence." It actually did, in my opinion, fit the tone of our initial scene. Using this one made a lot of sense because the others were all a little too dramatic. The utter silence was ideal and nicely complemented the concept of "Future Calls." It was extremely easy to add sound to the movie, and it took care of itself. I'm happy that we were all able to reach an agreement over the music.
