Production blog: Progression

 Hello Blog. We decided when we are going to film. It will be on Saturday. We spoke on the process. We used the storyboard paper to help. We will ask Ludji's parents for assistance also. We will film on an iphone. We want the most quality that there is. I have to practice how to lip sync. That is what I'll be doing in the video. We will decide if I have to dress up. It depends on the setting of the video. It also depends on what we do in the video. I might get a haircut before the video. I will do this to look nice. I will be editing the video. I have to get familiar with the editing platform. I will use my computer. I'll also talk with my teammates and give them feedback on things. We are progressing good right now. I am contributing in a good way.

Filming Blog: The Beginning!

 To be honest, filming was enjoyable and fairly simple. Ludji and I spent the weekend at Mai'Lyia's house so we could shoot. It was easy but challenging at the same time as we were filming. Being videotaped can be uncomfortable at times, but also funny. To get an outstanding video, we had to reshoot a lot of the scenes. We spent almost three hours filming the video which felt like a longer time. Many times, background noise or someone laughing would cause the scenes to sound off, so we would have to start over. We shot in a variety of locations across Mai'lyia's house. We filmed in, the living room, kitchen, back of the home, her room, her sister's room, and her brother's room. The laundry room and dryer in the back of the house served as the primary location or scene for the video. To add even more of an unsettling atmosphere, recordings were made at the back. Editing Blog: Things Switched

 Therefore, while not entirely incorrect, we completed the last task's filming portion incorrectly. The movie is meant to be a movie's opening scene. Rather than that, we filmed an entire short film. They gave me permission to modify this time as I had a fix request. They provided me with assistance when I needed it. But since I claimed to have Davinci Resolve, we decided it would be better for me to edit the movie. Mai'lyia captured a scene outside her home, which we were in need of. I think I will be the one to combine the footage to make it appear like an opening scene. This is done with the intention of not giving away the entire storyline or content. As I chose the fonts, I will provide the text, titles, and information about production and editing. Ludji agreed that it would be better if we skipped over the portion of the phone conversation that involved her and me.
